I was wondering that also. I know if you call allbrands or go on the internet you can ask them a question. I've been meaning to go and take a class on the different features of my machine. I see your fleur de leis is LSU colors. From BR or Laf area? There is an allbrand in Laf. that gives classes and they are very helpful.
I am central louisiana...a small place called Olla...but I do love lsu
I have a cousin who recently lost her husband who lives in Olla. Her name is Betty and she and husband has a furniture store. I know Olla is a very small place, so I bet you know her or know of her!

There should be a character in the alphabet that looks like a little underline _ . This is the "space" to the machine. You pick it just like you pick a regular letter. Hope that helps.

For the fonts that you don't use a hoop pcteddyb's answer should be right.

I have Babylock machines. My space key is on the lower right corner of the font. Looks somewhat like a square without a top. Babylock and Brother machines are similar so perhaps our keys are similar.

Have you checked in your manuel? I believe I saw how to do that while reading mine.

Thanks for asking this! I have a Brother SE-350 so it's low end but it has some alphabets built in and I may need to know this at some point!

Thank you for asking this question because I didn't know how to put a space in either, everything seems so easy when you know how
