off where? He put me on hold and came back . said he found it. Yes,they had Mary Hortons machine ready. But I'm not Mary Horton. So he goes back again and looks some more. Finds it up front and it has'nt even been looked at. I find out this guy came in to help the shop owner while the owner is picking up his daughter from school. So owner will call me and let me know what is going on. Somebody was confused. Hoping it's done by the end of the week. If it does'nt get hauled off again. LOL!

Goodness if this was me I think I would be worried. If it was my shop I would be choosy who I left running it. Or perhaps you will get a newer better machine when you go to collect. Please keep us updated on your progress with your machine

I wanted to say "Dont make me come down there". I will deal with owner, the shop has a good reputation and I just think the helper did not know what was going on. At leastI hope so!

Would have been nice if the person that answered the phone, told you upfront what the deal was! Yeah good for Mary Horton, hope Bev's machine is next!

Wow, I am afraid the poor man would have been in tears if he had been on the phone with me! I am prone to temper tantrums and the other person doesn't usually fare well in the end! Glad they still had yours and hope it is fixed and home with mommy soon!

I think I would be like Leenova, If I didn't have my embroidery machine for a week and then I thought they lost it I would hit the roof. I think when mine goes in for a serviced I will take a camp stretcher and sleep there till it is done.

They should know better than to come between a woman and her embroidery machine. We form a strong attachment and don't want to be without them.
My husband thinks I love my embroidery machine more than I love him. But here is the thing, the machine does not nag me,if it is not playing fair I can fix it and it understands my instructions. lol.
And it never says, "Honey, WHAT time is dinner?"

There should only be women repairers, preferably embroiderers. Men don't seem to realize the relationship we have with our sewing machine!!

If that was me I would have been frantic. You never know what could happen & they don't realize how close we are with our machines. Good luck and keep us updated. Arlene

Sounds like you should go "haul it off" to another shop.

I would but the only other shop is 3 hours away. I'll call them later and hopefully talk to someone who knows what is going on.

Oh Bev, my - that would give me a heart attack - obviously - the old guy didn't know what was going on - hope when you call and talk to owner he will straighten it out. I will be praying - you get your machine soon - I would start asking for a loaner - if they plan on keeping it longer than a week.
