These turned out very pretty. I think if it was me, I would put them to the side and find some I liked just as well without the thickness. I can not tell how thick they are from just a picture but I would look for less work/thread on another design if I had one I already liked. I am not lazy but I do look for something easy if it looks good also. The face on the 1st one is exceptionally pretty. It has a good shape and definition. I have a tendency to look for designs with fewer stitches that still look great. Well, with the exception of the designs from Embroidery Library. They are all dense but the designs there are wonderful. I have a big job ahead of me after all the going on this week and the designs I am planning to use are from E.L. I have decided to take the table runners apart(finished on both sides) and put a different design (seasonal) on each side. I am going to put Spring and Summer on the Mauve one and Fall and Winter on the Bl;lack one, then sew them back together. For the center of the Fall one, I am planning to use the new free design with leaves on it from S. Showalter. It has love sewn into the circle of leaves but It seems to be the last thing to stitch and I am going to change that to a single F for Flanders. I think this will be my DIL's christmas present that is for the house. I took a good look around and she does not have the wishing well hung in their new house. I was so proud of that piece because it was my start back on the machines after a long time away.
