I have researched online and found some info about a writer box, but have no clue what that is or where to find it.

A writer box writes embroidery designs to an embroidery card. Older machines still use cards, like my Brother 190D and my Viking Iris. I have writer boxes for both of them. I have since learned there are universal boxes (like the Ultimate box) that can be used for both.

Are u looking for very small fonts or the larger decorative ones. If u go to designs by cuties, u'll find tons of them. Cute Alphabet also have lots of beautiful fonts for every theme u can think of.

I have the Amazing Box Max which is for all machines. The designs you can get right here at cuties, either the free designs or go to Designs By Cuties and there are alot there and they are for free. I got a PED-Basic on ebay, new for $119 if your machine uses a card, I have a Brother SE-350 that I got for Christmas and it came from Walmart for under $400. Wish I could afford a better one with a larger hoop but I know I won't be inheriting one, lol! Good luck and Welcome to cute, the world of amazing friends!

I have "The Amazing Box" memory card converter new un-opened in the original box that I purchased when I bought my machine years ago and have never needed to use it. I will sell it resonably if you need it. It is made by Amazing Designs Great Notions and I believe you can find information on it at www.amazingdesigns.com PM if interested. ~Rita

Do you know if it is compatable with 64 bit processor? I read that it does not work with 64bit. If it does I would be interested in buying yours. I am afraid it won't work though.

I have an old second hand Bernina Deco600. I am fairly new to machine embroidery and I bought myself a Magic Box which converts all designs and downloads them on to a card. It is made in America and I have been really happy with it. Good luck and welcome to Cuties. I have posted the Magic Box site.
