I made myself some violet balls for my fur tree i have grown indoors for 5 years.It is soft to touch.When i hang them i will show you again !!The pattern is FSL from embprojects .com Hope you like them Carolyn

They look lovely.

Is there a reason that you don't just stitch them on water soluble stabilizer as free standing lace?

It would make them lighter in weight to put on your home grown tree.

Yes theres a reason or maybe 2 .I am just learning fsl & i have not had them turn out that great & i didn't want to waist all that thread for the 10th time.
