I just wrote a blog post about adjusting bobbin tension. I thought I would share it.

Very good post! I had to call in a guy to do exactly that on mine! I do wish my bobbin case was metal like the one you show. Next time I will try myself!

The owner of the embroidery supply shop where I bought my machine is a sewing machine mechanic, he showed me how to do this, he also said that most people won't even attempt to adjust the bobbin tension. I don't have time to hang around waiting for a repair guy to adjust a screw for me.

I have a Brother Innovis 700E, and the tension adjustment screw on the bobbin case has a little dob of paint on it, adjust a quarter of a turn at a time....righty tighty..lefty loosey.
