I don't really understand what all the voting is about, or even why it is done, because I like them all, but this is the site I love to chat with....but I have been voting 'cute' for the 3 months I have been able to vote here. I wish someone would explain what the fuss is all about, because I vote but not really sure what the vote is all about....someone please help us newbies out on this......or at least me......

If someone wants to vote for their favorite site I think that's great. But, voting for squashing is just mean spirited.

Some people are not happy unless they have some sort of conflict going on....personally I'm not going to participate in their child like ways. Think we'll all be better off just to ignore them and maybe they'll just fade into the sunset...but I doubt it.....how childish can a group of so called adults be? "Cute" is a wonderful site and we don't need to be involved in an online feud.

I go to a lot of sites and I like a lot of them, but I am here most of the time. I vote for Cute, but am not going to play childish games. I dont care if Cute is No. 1 or No. 30 I would still be here. I dont think Veronica would want to be part of a fued either. Hope I dont affend anyone.

No need for a fued. Just vote for Cute at Embroidery Top. Would hate to see Miss Veronica lose revenue because of a silly game.

Is the site's Advertising affected by the position at Embroidery would love to hear from Miss Veronica on that if it's not then I don't care either.

But if the free designs come from this revenue. She's got my vote.

Unless Cute is getting paid by each click then I think it really doesn't matter. The more negative I see of DBS the less time I want to spend there and I will not renew my membership there, this much I know. It's always nice to be number one, and from what I understand if DBS is the owner of the Embroidery Top, then Cutie IS number ONE because owners are exempt. hehehehe... I love my Cuties!

embroiderymad - I think that you have just written your resignation letter to the DBS forums - I doubt if there will be much co-operation from that direction in the future!
If you had been following the conversations over there (I am not a member because I don't do much chatting, but do enjoy seeing the friendly banter, along with plenty of EM information, and a lot of caring and support among the members, that can be viewed as a guest.)you would see that the thread you are referring to is a VERY LIGHTHEARTED affair - that celebrates their forums! Why would you think that they should do anything else??
There is a lot of negative feeling directed towards the DBS/Cuties, but I have only ever seen friendly communication from them when they have posted in this community - even when someone has been harsh over here about them!

This all just so pathetic and childish. It is as if some people have nothing else to worry or think about ! This is not a life and death situation - wake up those of you that think it is. I am sure that most adults left good guys versus bad guys (in this kind of situation) behind on the school playgrounds of the world ? Please contribute something relevant and do not make trouble if it is not necessary. This applies to both sites - I am a Member of both. It is not a personal comment aimed at anyone in particular - just my thoughts on this topic.

I don't know what DBS means or stands for. But I do know there's only one site I realy love: that's Cute embroidery. that's why for me it's nr. 1!!
