The thread kept shreading, which I think that can be fixed with a visit to "Rays"... This is new territory to me, so I would like to do it well since others will be purchasing them.

I done it both ways, but if you have problems you can use solvy on top to protect your fabric. Hugs.

Thanks Maria, I just might have to do that next time. I slowed my machine down REALLY slow to try and keep it from breaking again. LOL Hopefully that will help a little. Thanks again.
I have never taken my machine out of the slowest mode, lol, shows my confidence in myself and the machine!

Don't know what "twinkle" cloth is but this sounds interesting!

Deb I left a picture in projects of it. Some ppl call it different things, I think maybe iridescent fabric. We've always called it twinkle. hehehe...
I better go check now before it goes so far back I can't find it!

I'd sandwich it...I've never had any problems this way and I do slow my machine down on some fsl designs

If the 'twinkle' cloth is like organza or similair - I don't understand how it was breaking needles - it is becasue the cloth has some metallic thread in it? If that is the case - I would say the extra layer of WSS would help out. I have never slowed my machine down for FSL - so I am not sure how that works.

If you use a kind of organsa for your FSL than you don't need the WSS anymore to stich on becaus the organsa will keep it all together. I don't know what twinkle is but i would not using WSS as I use organsa, Good luck Yvonne
