Amazing! That is not happenstance at all. That is God giving hope to the world in an unusual way.

I am not into the numbers thing, but we just had 10/10/10 for the date a few days ago which won't happen again until 11/11/11. I was married on 11/11/61 and have been divorced for 25 years. So much for the numbers!!!

We have been praying and praying for the miners, way up here in the mountains of Colorado. We are so very pleased about the rescue. The Chilean president seems like he really, truly cares about his people. Chile has had quite a year! Praise God for the wonderful outcome! Jan

Yes the rescue was great. We even had live TV coverage here on Sth Australia's remote Eyre Peninsula! A similar plight happened to some Aussie miners in Tasmania a few years back. It was marvellous to see them come to the top.

Were they also trapped for a long time? These poor man weren't even found till the seventeenth day after the collapse of the mine. I heard today, that the President of Chile said that he is going to make sure that mine stays closed, and never opens again.

I was listening to a news anchor. He was commenting how the whole operation had been surrounded by the number 33. They had a timer (chronometer) running and he said it had taken the capsule 33 minutes to be lowered and to come up again with the last man (one of the rescuers) leaving the mine.
