I like the patterned one.
these are all the colors going in it...not for voting..sorry...my error for not making that clearer....sorry
Very pretty choices.
I love the print one. Yoriko is one luck lady.
I'd like the patterned one best for the outer border and the plain ones for sashing. Lovely choice of colours, gives it an oriental feel.
I like the red and the blk and red pattern. H&*

I like the red ... guess, I am the only one who does...hehehe!!
I like the red but remember that it will be very red when finished and wont go with much in the line of decore. ie if Yorikos room is yellow, purple , green so i am voting the black as it will allow any colr to come in so to speak :)
I vote for the red. Much brighter and cheerful. With yorikos health problems red is the one I think she needs. Helen
I vote for red it is a great uplifting color for Yoriko. Sally
I like the red. Are black and red the color choices? Did I understand that correctly?
I like the red...it's very bright and lively.

difficult choice. The black fits with every color, but the red gives me a more warm feeling. That's why I prefer the red to give that warm feeling of love and comfort.that cuties feeling :)
I like the red one the best. It is a freindlier color and to me, black will take away from the warm feelings.
Red is my choice.
Black picks up too much lint and hairs, she'll be forever trying to keep it clean.
I had a black (Japanese style) doona cover and I just got so sick of it attracting every little bit of fluff.
Ever wear black clothes and just can't keep them looking crisp???
Japanese people love red, hence their flag, red on a white background and red is good luck in most Asian cultures.
My personal opinion is that red would be more suitable all around.

I vote for this one, the red : it's my favourite color and I think it would be great with japanese designs !!!
Both look nice but, I agree that the Red is more cheerful and might brighten Yorikos spirits . Love Nancy
I like all three, but I will choose the Red for no. 1 too
Red would make a great binding.

I think I like this one. At least it shows well with this design. But, what about some of the others - like the one I did with blues. LOL
black goes with everything and I did just put an all blue on it and it looked lovely also....
i like the black too
Me too.
Me, as well.
Gets my vote.
I vote the black :)
Well for me it's black everytime - I'm known for always wearing black! Love Chris
I like the black.
The black will go well with any decor, me thinks!!! Hugs, Judy
I agree with Judy's comment.
Oh yes, the black for sure!
I love the black one.
After going back & forth a dozen times, I like the black. That's probably why it takes me so long to make something..I can't make up my mind what I like best!!
for me the black too.
I like the black
If we cannot alternate the colors I like the idea of black because any color will look good with it & not everything will go with red.
I like the blk. H&*
I think I am going to vote black
I vote black.....I think it will make a great frame for all the designs......sorry I'm late I missed this.

I like the black one for that square. However, you could alternate the squares with the black and red depending upon the design.

It would be great to know what pattern you are planning. I could envision black surrounding each square with maybe a small red diamond accent with the printed outer border and red backing. Whatever you choose, I know it will be great!

Deanna, you are referring to the actual background block that will hold the entries we sent you right? I saw where you said the two tone is going to be a sashing? If that be the case, I say use the black as the background with the print sashing and red binding. If I've misunderstood, then I apologize. I think just surprise us. But I know it is a big deal because you want everyone's opinion so we are a little involved. But since you know what colors you are dealing with I trust your judgment. Hugs, Terre
