Good Morning,

I am looking for a "in the hoop" stocking design. I can only do 4x4. Any suggestions? (free would be nice)

if it is a Christmas stocking you are looking for, there is one here on designs by cuties. I'm not sure how far back it is but i'm sure another cutie knows the one i am thinking of.

Maybe this is something for you. They look very nice and they are free; look for the (STOP PRESS : extra stocking design added here!) and you find a stocking with a madonna. Should be Stockings to put little goods in them. Didn't tried the designs because my machine has an interruption time and must go to the repair shop :o(

Thank you for the link... They are very cute, but what I am looking for is a full size stocking that I can do in the hoop. But I will use these to decorate my tree. Thanks again

Maybe I have today my senior-moment: You have a 4x4hoop and wanna stitch full size stockings as in-the-hoop-design? What do you mean with "full size"? I'm really confused...

I am looking to do a quilted or patchwork regular size stocking 6 x 18 when completed.

Now I got it; you want to make a stocking out of many little pieces stitched in the 4x4hoop ;o)
I googled a little bit and maybe this is something for you: http://www.secretsof.com/content/2744
Crazy Patch Stocking cut in 10 pieces for 4x4; the finished size is 15.2 x 10 inches.
Or this for the easier way >http://www.annthegran.com/cs/blogs/my_embroidery_mentor/archive/2010/10/15/christmas-stocking-embroidery.aspx :o)
