Nothing has really improved as far as income yet but folks are getting better at helping us through. The bank gave us an extention as to paying them what we were behind, the landlord talked with Maurice and there's an uneasy truce for the moment, The electric company is our biggest worry at the moment. Food stamps have literally been a Godsend. My health is awful but our attitudes are pretty good. Please pray the judge eases up on the child support for the two in college and not living at home and maybe for a miracle that she will come to her senses and take the financial burdon off Maurice for the child that is not his. Nov 3rd is the court date and also the date of Yvonne's surgery. I pray we both have great results at the end of that day. On our way to my doctors' appointment the other day, the entire exhaust pipe came loose and was dragging. Luckily there were some clamps in the trunk to hold it up until we got home. I saw it when we finally got home and it is maybe 2 inches off the ground. God was watching us that day as it could have come back off at any moment on our trip back home. I had to cancel pt & dentist visits for the next day(yesterday) and the dentist insists on charging me $25 for being a no show even though it happened less than the 24 hr time frame they require for cancellations. I have an abcessed tooth I'm on antibiotics for and an appointment with an oral surgeon for the end of the month to have it extracted. Meanwhile it hurts like a toothache!!!lol It's been pouring here all day so Maurice couldn't get under the car to fix it yet. I sure hope it stops raining soon. It doesn't help the arthritis being so wet and cold and windy.

Your prayers really are helping- at least attitude wise so far. We have no tv but watch dvds over and over. I think we need some new to us ones as I'm beginning to know all the words to the ones we have!lol Maurice and I can still laugh with each other and are doing our best to get through this. We both firmly believe that God is still with us for when things go wrong, like the car dieing, we still made it home safely. To me, they are small miracles that help us get through each day. We're out of bread but I had the ingredients and made some---little things like that. I borrowed my neighbors canner and canned spaghetti sauce with tomatoes from my sons garden. See? It isn't all gloom and doom and I know your prayers help so please keep us supplied,ok? We still need them. Thank you,
