You must be quite the sewer if you make all your own cloth. I would never have the time--espically this time of year. H&*

I put away the summer stuff and then it got in the 70s again but I did leave out a few tank tops and 2 pair of shorts to be safe. Now it is cold and I will wear last years clothes as I do not have the patience to make my own any more.

Last year I bought more pieces than I made but this year will be different. The weather is unpredictable. It's amazing how much patience I have compared to years ago...LOL ;D *2U

Oh,I need to do the same thing. I also need to get back to sewing my own clothes. It has been so long since I made myself anything to wear, I'm not sure I still could. But as much as our machines cost, we need to use them to save money on clothing! LOL!! Happy sewing!!!

it is so hard to find fabric all the fabric stores have either closed or cut down on their fabrics and prices are so high .
by mad14kt 20 Oct 2010
For me, I L*VE to be FASHIONABLE! I L*VE being able to go to my fabric stash and pick what I want to make :)

Lenamae you are right a lot of stores have closed. I buy my fabric mostly online, Hancock and Joann's. Also, sometimes someone give me some as a gift. I will NEVER run out of fabric.

I have not made my self any thing in a long time back when I was young and little I made every thing I wore always had nice pretty things to wear then I went to work and some of that time i held two jubs did not have time to do any sewing then when I retired I had so many people wanting me to sew for them I had no time then the embroidery machine ruined me I got to making quilts and just stopped sewing.
