am very confused. Is this what I want or is it a stabilizer? I have been on the net and looked up the product (WorldWeidner) but I cannot see the exact product that I have. I either see a stabilizer or an over the back product. My other question is how do I use it as it seems so flimsy? I imagine a fairly cool iron with no steam?? I hope someone will be able to help. Sarah.

Don't let the term stabilizer confuse you. It can also be used as a stabilizer. You are correct about the cool or even medium heat and no steam. Cut a piece a bit larger than the design, lay it over the back of the design, then trim around and fuse to the back. If you leave too much overhang, eventually it will begin to peel off. Nan

Thank you so much. I was a bit wary using something I have not used before and I did not want to ruin all the t shirts that I have worked so hard on.

I think that you got an answer. I use a product by Sulky that is called Tender Touch. It has been great, but is very light. I just iron over the back of the stitches.

Another name for this is called Cloud...if you're unable to find this in your area you can always use a soft fusible interfacing. Hugs

Pellon also makes a version of a knit interface that works really well to keep things from getting scratchy. They sometimes call stuff like this as "interfacing" too.

I sent some of this to another cutie..I apply it after the embroidery is all stitched and backing trimmed away..you should leave a quarter inch of this stabilizer around the design back..and I have washed shirts a number of times and it is still permanently fixed..great stuff and no more scratchy feeling..and yes it can also be used as a stabilizer when stitching a design out..
Hi Kathy. Yes you sent some of this tender touch to me. Wonderful stuff but you cannot buy it anywhere in the UK. I had to replace it with Floriani Dream Weave. On t shirts I use it with Florianis No Show mesh as a stabilizer. The combination works very well on stretchy fabrics.

You can also use a fusible tricot interfacing. Found in the interfacing dept. be sure to use a pressing cloth when fusing as the fabric does not do well with direct contact to hot iron.
