thread on the orange towel or (black thread on the orange towel and orange thread on the black towel). Gosh I hope this makes sense. What do you think will look the best? Here is a picture of one of the designs...

I think org on blk--and blk on org. would stand out the best. Someone else may have a much better idea. Happy embossing. H&*

Use orange thread on black towel and black thread on orange towel. If you use the color of the towel it wouldn't show up. Good luck with your project and be sure to post a picture in projects.

Laura, I likethe tone on tone with embossed designs - however because these are Halloween designs - the opposite might look very nice - hope to see them in projects soon.

There have been many of the CUTE family - that have done the embossed in the opposite color tone and they look wonderful with other embossed designs.

I was kinda thinking tone on tone too - but I am not sure how that would be on a black towel. Thanks!!!!! *4U

if it were a normal design - for every day use - the embossed is really meant to be that embossed - to make the design look like it has been carved into the material - but for this sort of holiday towel - the opposite color would be very stricking and one you would really want to show off. IMHO!

This is different than your "everyday towel" - you are right - we will see how this turns out - thanks!!!*

I would suggest the contrasting colours, black on black would hardly show up and Halloween asks for some fire. Looking forward to what you decide to do.
