Stick with neutral colors or colors that are considered masculine (navy, gray, browns, some shades of green, etc.) These are easy to keep clean and will please most guys. Keep it classic and simple, none of my guys are fond of froufrou, their word:).Hope this helps.

Marie, 1st of all - CLEAN it up - Hehehe! I agree with Sue - neutral colors - tone on tone or oposite colors - light on dark - dark on light - nothing that will sound out to say - a woman did this - but something that is simple and great looking. Maybe just a border across the bottom of the towel or wash cloth.

If you are doing the painting and everything else in this makeover - choose colors that you can also work with along the same lines - a border along the top or the bottom of the wall. The same colors in the waste can and items that will be left for use in the room.

If you are embroidering anythig, think of cars and sports. Do any of the men have preferences for colors, etc?
