This is a project that is done for underprivileged children for Christmas.
Gifts get put into a shoe box for each child.

We do a shoe box ministry at our church. It is great whenever we get pictures of the kids receiving them and how it can change a life. Great job Yvonne.

Reva thank you. Our church also does charity work, 1 of them is to a small farm community - The Tuesday group, which I am with, take it out to them and we also give the children a Christmas Party.
Last year we also hired a jumping castle for them. It is wonderful to see them all dressed up and enjoying themselves. They in return put on a play for us and they sing and dance before they go out to play.

Yvonne, what you are doing is a wonderful thing. Not very many people go to the trouble to do thingd like this therefore there are alot of children that fall between the cracks. There are so many out there that are not aware of what they are missing. On the other hand, it is so great that you and others take the time to give from the heart and help all that you can. You are a very thoughtful person and I appreciate that and I am glad to know you even though it is a very long distant friendship. My prayers go out to you on this project of love you are involved with. You just never know what kind of light you can spark in a child from something that we consider everyday things. I also do bookmarks for an old age home, close to were I am. (My dad was there) Lots of the residents don't have any family that visit them. So at least they get something. Hugs Yvonne

We are doing 100 boxes at the church this yr. Yvonne. This sat. nigh we are having a chili supper at church & are going to pack them all & ready for shipping . It's a lot of fun isn't it. Nice work on the wash cloths. we never know the names so I usually just do a little design on things.
