unpacked the car the following evening I realised that the broach I had worn on my jacket was damaged. I have recently inherited the jewellery from my late mother. Everyone looked throughout their bags, the road and the car but there was no amythyst to be seen. I was very sad and cross with myself. The sad bit was it was my mothers birthday and I had never worn this jewellery before.
Yesterday there was a phone call from my older daughter saying 'mum you will never guess what I have found in one of Twm's bags' YES she had found the missing piece. Now it is all in a safe place waiting for me to find a jeweller who can mend the broach.
So... for all those of you who loose things that are precious - they do turn up in the most unlikely places. And I am very happy. Thanks for reading

I am so thrilled for you that you found it. I had a beautiful bracelet that the children gave me for my 50th and it was stolen - and it's a dreadful feeling knowing that you will not get something back that you loved so much.
I'm so happy that you have found the Amethyst - they're a beautiful stone. Love Chris
If its meant to be it will find its way back to you :-)
My nana has recently gave me a diamond pendant but made me promise to wear it..
If I inteneded to keep it in a box then I cant have it
she says the value will be its memory which scares me even more.. she says it was meant to be worn and not hidden
Big hugs from London
