unit that Rick was on during his stay at the University of Utah for several month - they were amazed at his progress in the last couple of months - we also were able to hand out an additional 40 angels during that visit. One or two said - I have been seeing this little angels all over and wondered where they came from - so you are the 'Angel Lady"? I loved and said - I suppose so. It was great for us.

The doctor gave Rick another couple injections of Botox in his arm and leg - to help with the spasticity of his muscles. They also talked about the bioness device that cost $6000 - the insurance will not pay for it, but they are doing a community thing next month - in the Sugarhouse area with the University of Utah and the community will pay for half the cost - if we pay for the other half - I hope we can find a way to raise the other $3000 - that is a super device and would so much add Rick in his walking.

The doctor also wants Rick to have a pump installed to give him his daily medicine for his spasticity under the skin and it will be placed in the front (tummy/side area) and this will give Rick the medicine in a dosage that they can't give orally - it will bathe the hip at the spine with the medicine. This will aid Rick to walk easier. I am hopeful for all these different ways to help him. He is excited about them, too!
