about 3 weeks now and got a call from his old high school today to substitute. His sisters still go there, so every class had someone in it that knew one of his sisters. After school all I heard from the girls' friends were squeals, "Your brother was my math sub today!" All smiles from everyone!
Next up for #1 is his Masters in Education which doesn't start for a few months. He will substitute while going to school which will hopefully lead to a position when he graduates.
For anyone else out there with teenagers, remind them that they really need to keep their driving record clean if driving will be part of their job description! #2 would be very disappointed if his driving record was bad and he couldn't get his ambulance license. Same goes for criminal records, and drug offenses for either of these professions.
1 Have a sensible email address when applying for a job
2 Daft postings on Facebook are a not advisable. Neither is it sensible to say you are off for the day as you had a late night and too much partying
Good for you for raising such smart kids. I wouldn't want to raise mine in this day and age. I say congrats to you too Mom! You certainly did something very right!
