Please HELP! I need to know how much to charge someone for embroidered lettering and a design. Do you charge by letter or time or stitches?

I usually charge by stitches on a sliding scale. I have a chart that I use to work it out depending on the number of items and the number of stitches. I have put an image of my pricing scale (Australian Dollars). I use it as a rough guide really. I hope this helps.

I also need to know how to charge. Someone asked me to do her three childrens names on their "trick or treat bags". It will be a total of 17 letters, with 3 hoopings. Plus I have to search for just the right font. What would you charge for this? Thanks for your advice.

Me i mostly charge .75-$1.00 for a 1000 stitches. It all depends on how many thread changes, hoopings etc. Mostly I charge by what I think they can pay. Guess I just enjoy what I do to much.
