Well i took all your advice you all gave me.I bought a roll from Sick of wss & i made these christmas balls totally with it,i like to use fabric & this was a little scarey but PTL they turned out !!!Well girls how did i do?????carolyn

But if you use fabric then it's not FSL. With FSL once you rinse it you should have just thread or lace. Try one without the fabric, not as scary as you think it will be.

Whoops, is my face red. I apologize, i opened my big mouth, I did'nt read the post corectly. I thought you said you like to use fabric and used fabric on these. Sorry. I went back and looked and you are right. Hope all is forgiven.

I'm confused, once you wash out the wss what is going to connect the snowflake to the outside circle?
I think there are stitches between the inner and outer, looks like it is white stitches.
Oh yes, I had to enlarge the photo to see the background stitches.

No not yet i have sewed for 55 + years & i still like fabric BUT this was fun/different .I will keep trying more designs & maybe one day i will be hooked as you call it Thanks!!Carolyn
