Trudy, how do you like Ga overall? I have been here most of my 63 yrs and there is only one place I would rather be but it is because it is so beautiful. I love the area around the Smokey Mts. I came very close to moving there about 8 or 9 yrs ago but got sick,surgery and have some bad health issues so decided it was best to stay close to home, friends and family! I was born in Macon, Ga. and di not go too far away when I got married but have moved 2 time since the divorce in 1979. I am now in the Atlanta simply because my only son live in this area and demanded that I move after my 9 month stay between the hospital and the nursing home 6+ yrs ago. It did take him 3 yrs to talk me into leaving my home and if I had it to do over, I would have not made this move!!!I hate it here away from family and friends. My son married a whole family with step-daughters and step- grands not long after I moved her and it is rare that he has time to even come by the house. Sometimes, I will go a whole month without seeing him except on Sundays at church and lunch afterwards. Next to the Smokey's Ga. is my favorite place to be but Ga is home and where family/friends are! Where are you located in Ga. We have several Cute Members that are from Ga. There are several cuties that live in driving distance form me but right now, I am having to drive my son's junk truck that I do not trust on the hwy. I go to the Dr every week with my leg, to buy groceries and to church but not anywhere else except to his home once in a while. I will be alot more moblie when he gets my Durango up and going again! I am sure by now that you have gotten use to the Ga. area. I am in Fayetteville, Ga. a surburb of Atlanta. My son lives in Sharpsburg, Ga about 15 to 20 minutes from me. I am sure that you miss your home and family but do hope you are happy here! Linda
