I have also noticed this and it seems to be a fairly recent thing. Perhaps we will hear from someone who knows.

I noticed too. It started happening when they were doing a few changes here. Usually when you answer a post it will bring it back to the top, but if the person with the original post doesn't answer all responses, it will scatter them around. Probably a glich in the system. :)

Carolyn, I have noticed this as well - but to tell you the truth - I really don't think it matters the order of the replies or comments - it has a time stamped on them and when someone else replies or comments - it changes the order again. Hehehe!
