I would like to thank everyone for all your input . I have not tried the Floriani but will try it because of the way it is described. I use only the Isacord now. I sent flowers to all.

Bkd, would love to know how you go with the Floriani, it would be interesting to have a comparison to Isacord (that's what I use mostly - because that's what I have mostly!), so please let us know, thanks and all the best.

Ruthie, I use both Isacord & Floriani, the Floriani is super shiny like rayon, works well in my Janome 300E, my Janome dealer sells the Floriani, too. Here's a flower for you both.

Good luck with the Floriani, Bkd, I think you'll like it. Only thing is, it doesn't have the snap bottom spools like the Isacord (boo), have to put loose tail thru a little 'hooky' thing under the spool.
