Simple answer, NO. I thought about the same thing when I was looking at the cards and I checked into it cause it sure would be cheaper. The designs that are already on those cards can't be removed without ruining them. Would have been cool though, huh?

A blank card you use time and time again to load any design you like to embroider.
The cards with designs are just that. You just have these designs that are on it.
Mind you make sure the blank card is with the reader writer or whatever is used to write patterns to the card.

If the card was purchased by them with the patterns already on them they can't be re-programed. Has to be a blank card in the first place. The Ped-Basic Box costs $129.00 plus tax and comes with a blank card that holds quite a few patterns then can be erased and used over and over. Of course you save those patterns on your computer or where ever. Hope this helps.

No idea BUT I do know that you can download the designs from the card to floppy or CD. The blank cards are made to be reprogrammed many times over. You could have fun trying your idea out and letting us know the outcome...
