Looks pretty ambitious to me, what size hoop do you have? I don't think I could do much with my 4x4. Post them when you get done!

I havent made any myself (due to my iddy bitty 4x4 hoop), but I've pondered it several times and I would have to do it on my sewing machine. As for the soles, I think I'd look for that fabric that has little puffy dots on it (think baby/toddler shoe soles) or even using that el-cheapo shelf liner stuff thats non slip ..? The first time I saw what you guys call "shelf liner" I saw it here (Australia) as non-slip matting for the bathroom - ie under a towel on the floor, or under a rug on the floor (think that was at Ikea). Pretty versatile stuff, and I dont think ppl are gonna look at the soles of your slippies and inspect them heh :) xXx

There are slippers at this site. If you are going to make several the price can be justified. Changing the fabric and designs you can make both for men and woman. Denim or corduroy would be a good choice for men's. At some fabric stores they make a product for the bottom of sleepers that has dots of rubber/paint for non skid. If you have an old worn out leather garment you could cut that up for the sole.
