Well if I delete my emails they go to the delete section so I have another chance should I change my mind. Will this work, will it be in the rubbish bin? There will be someone with brighter ideas than me. Belated congratultions on your idea

No I just checked and with Outlook, you normally can't. DH says he will look to see if they have recovery tools and try to find it. I did send Emblibrary another e-mail explaining what I had done, maybe they will send another, I hope.

Terre, you should be able to go to the deleted files bin and look for it....it will probably show it as never being opened so you should be able to spot it quickly.....if you are unsuccessful....I would contact emblibrary and they may have a simple solution.....all they can say is NO.....good luck.....and congratulations.....

Thank you for the suggestion, but you can only do that with other e-mails. Unfortunately with MS outlook we can't find a retrieval anywhere. I just contacted them so hopefully they will send another. Thanks for the congrats!

Terre, check your outlook express settings to see if it is set to fully delete the email instead of putting it into the deleted folder. I have MS outlook and have it set so I can delete and it goies into a folder, then if I made a mistake I can retrieve it. Anyway, Congratulations!!!!! Carol

Thanks Carol, DH has it set up to completely delete. We tried to retrieve it but it wouldn't let us open it up. I think he is going to change it for me just in case it happens again. Thanks again.

I use Outlook and there is a deleted items folder.

They can be set up both ways, but we've had ours set this way for almost 20 yrs. :)

funny thing is - your tip was a topic on CUTE over the weekend - I bet there is one lady that had wished she had seen this - before she asked - but she got some great answers.
I saw. I think she tried just baby wipes, but you have to have the combination of the two, alcohol is an important key. :)

Look in the deleted folder where you read E-mails. I sometimes find mine there.

Also look in your trash can. If you haven't gone to empty trash it should be there. Good luck!

Thanks, ours doesn't go to the trash unfortunately. DH was able to get to the retrieval mode with MS Outlook, but we couldn't open it up.

Unfortunately we have MS Outlook and it is set up with no retrieval. DH tried, but it just wouldn't open. :P(
