He was a Major in the US Army, and after returning from a tour of duty in Korea, he had cardiac valve replacement surgery at Walter Reed Hospital. Later his condition deteriorated and he died in the early morning hours, before his son and wife could see him for a last time. He was only 39 years old. Our grandson is only 8 years old, and is devastated. Please pray that God speaks to our daughter’s and grandson’s hearts, comforts them and allows them to accept this loss.

Oh my Jacqueline. My heart goes out to your family. Will keep them in prayer. I know God will give them comfort if they seek His help and guidance. I pray there will be others around that will help supporting them in the situation. To some it might sound lame to rely on God for our strength, but it is the most sound thing anyone can do. Enjoy this video...It is Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, (my favorite choir).They were performing at La. prison. But the words are phenomenal!!! Hope you can understand them.

You and your family will be in my prayers. It will take some time but with the Lord's help and guidance they will pick up the pieces and be happy again. He was so young and your grandson is very young also to lose a parent. May the Lord keep each of you closely in his arms surrounded by love of each other. Jacqie my dear - I am so sorry to hear this news - your daughter and grandson will be in my prayers - there is nothing that I can say - that would change how they feel - but I do know that they have a tough row to hoe ahead of them - we never know what the reason's for these sort of things - but their life will be forever changed - they wil need your strength to help them get through this trail. Have them pray for guidence, as we are for them.
