Each pumpkin tells a story. A pirate, a choir, a family and a pumpkin with wings for a friend in the Air Force just to name a few. The favorite quilt,,,, I should have made two....

This is fascinating. I enlarged and studied it. Is the background stack and whack? Did you applique over your background quilt? Great job. Becky

The background is strips of muslin cover with black and white fabric scraps then the strips are stitched together. And then applique pumpkin and stems and then some embroidery and top top of that.

Oh the black border is a cobweb print ...it just looks black
