Hi, thofman, swapping downloaded files is a violation of copyright laws. I'll vote for the "t" for you, too. I have had to purchase a few, they are very affordable when you consider the rest of the alphabet was free. Happy sewing!

Thofman, I second what Freida said, it is a violation of copyright laws to share designs in any way, and it’s definitely not worth it, nor is it fair on the digitiser to share their designs around. I’ll go and vote for the T and hope they repeat it for you. Or you could either buy individual letters for $1 each, or buy a 6-months membership for $29.95. With the membership you can then download ALL the current designs from the Cute, Lovely and Alphabet sites and ALL the new designs for the next 6-months, and that’s a real bargain.

Please play fair and don't share. Even if you got it for free, it is still not "yours" to offer to others.

leefish, are you stupid or what, I say this from one Aussie to another, I'm sorry but don't you know the rules of the site. You have been here for awhile now and I am sure you have seen the big up roar on this subject and again now just on this page and you say you will share right in front of everyone. That's like walking into the lions den. We will vote for your letter and designs you want and work together in helping each other get what we want. All you have to do is say can you vote for a certain letter and everyone in the world will do so.Sorry if I have affended you, I would like to see you still on the site in years to come.

leefish & jerrib - please read what Freida and I wrote below. To add to that, I have heard of people being banned from sites for sharing.

That is very true, and even worse than that, the digitizer might choose to *STOP* offering freebies at all! How tragic would that be for those who can't afford to buy many designs?

Amen to what Ruthie & Freida said! Please show respect & courtesy for the digitizers and artists who put lots of hard work into creating these designs & are generous enough to give a daily freebie - please don't 'share', just vote the letter back up again!

I agree, please play fair & don't share! The design belongs to the digitizer, even if you downloaded it, free or paid for. This digitizer is kind enough to give a daily freebie, but it is her work to give, not anyone else's to share. She wants us to see the quality of her designs and use them, but she is not obligated to do that. How do you think she gets the $ to maintain this website & have time to digitize designs? She sells memberships for $29 and individual designs for $1, which is quite a bargain either way, if you have looked at most other sites. I do digitizing myself, and would be really angry if I gifted someone with a design and they decided to share it with all their friends. It violates copyright laws and is an insult to the designer. Sorry, it just frosts my cookies when people are so cavalier about copyright LAWS--and they are laws, not suggestions. Please respect the work of the digitizer (and it is a lot of "work", it doesn't do itself) and buy what you missed or ask us to vote with you to get it. We're a helpful community here, but I sure hope none of us would be so 'helpful' as to break the law. Sorry for the rant, but as I said, frosts my cookies.

I really hope that we can be a community that can explain to those who have never heard the rules in a kind and compassionate manner and have a peaceful and joyful place to go and meet our friends. Welcome thofman, I hope you will come back soon. ;)

I’m with you, jrob, sorry everyone if things got a bit out of hand, but Freida and I had already explained about copyright laws etc, and then 2 people answered and offered to share. I guess we all got a bit uptight about the whole situation. All the best everyone.

I'm with you, Jrob & Ruthie, but it was like you said, it was explained, then seemed to be ignored. Didn't mean to be a witch, just feel really strongly about it, maybe came out wrong. I love this community, hate to see it taken away from us for something silly like that. My best, & flowers all around.

And now, everyone (currently visiting this board) should know that YOU DO NOT SHARE EMBROIDERY DESIGNS! EVER!! Right? We all got it? Great! Now we can go back to our "regularly scheduled" design collecting. =D
