I used to make these with my kids out of paper and thought why not embroider felt. So this is what i came up with. You could use this as a table topper or hang it on the tree with a ribbon. I added some white glue that dried clear to made the top stay closed or you could hand sew it. Decorate them up with crystals etc. I'll post it to cute for those who would like to make them with the kids. I'm sure they would love to decorate them.

thank you cuties for all the great comments, i hope you's and your grandkids or kids have lots of fun making them together. I know i used to love making them out of paper with my kids. I remember using old Christmas cards to make them too.

Remember to use 2 pieces of felt in your hoop. One on the top over the stabilizer and one under your hoop,this makes it heavier to stand up.
