Poodle skirt I made for my grandaughter for a fifties dance with her dad. Sewmon gave me a link to How to make a poodle skirt(Thanks sewmom)Total cost four dollars and she is going to wear it for Halloween too! Yeah!!!

Great job! my daughter showed me a way to make them without any seams except the waist casing. Was the easiest skirt I've every made. :) I posted it here a few months back. The colors are opposite of yours. LOL... Your GD is beautiful too. The bow in the hair is perfect.

I had to make one of these a few years ago for my little GD - she was in a beauty pagent, and they chose 50's costumes for them to wear. She was not yet 2 years old when I did that. I did not put the poodle on her's for we wanted something different - so we put a 45 RPN record and music notes - wish I knew to take pictures of the things then. LOL Good job, and a beautiful little girl.

I keep making gifts and then giving away do fast that I don't get a picture either. ...now I try to mae a point of snapping a picture because I want to remember all the things I worked hard on and sometime people aren't as thrilled as I'm with my project LOL
