I spent my afternoon making angels. All of these angels are FSL and come from The Country Needle. Nantenia does a tree each year for the Festival of the trees. Many of us make angels and donate to her for the decorations. The tree is then auctioned and money goes to charity. The colors of blue and white were chosen for this years tree. I tried a couple different things to sparkle them up a bit, and tried to make several different ones. I used glitter glue on one, glitter on another while it was drying, and organza behind one. I also tried using the threads from the irridescent organza sandwiched between 2 layers of the WSS - it sparkels some, but not much. I thought that the varigated thread would be cute - result - a plaid angel. This was a good way to spend an afternoon, and one more project down for me. I have to go get florist wire to put the wire on them so that they can be wired to the tree, and then they are ready to go off in the mail. Now I need to concentrate on the Jr. ROTC Military ball - don't know what to do yet. LOL
