Whoo Hoo, I just ordered opal mylar and bent handle applique scissors from heirlooms by Sharon and 3 kinds of stabilizer from World Weidner, I feel like a real embroiderer now!

Good deal - what will you plan on stitching out for your 1st mylar project - the use of the the 3 stabilizers? *4U

Good question, I may just do it on a FSL ornament for the first try. I have an old red mylar balloon here that I may try on an ornament since it won't need washed except for the original rinse.

Good for you. It's great to know you can start a project and have supplies you need on hand. You sound like you'll be having lots of fun. Can't wait to see what you're up too.

I was having problems with my little ones cutting while the material was still in the hoop so I got the bent handle ones. On heirlooms by Sharon website they are $9.99 and I couldn't find the bent ones at JoAnn's.

Nice Maggie! I'll try to post when I do something. She emailed me this morning that she is shipping it out today! That's quick!
