One night after many years of marriage my husband want to switch sides that we sleep on... in the morning I asked how he slept and he said that he toss and turned and all night all he wanted to do was to go shopping for FABRIC! LOL He has never slept on that side again.

You'll have to do what I did....get your husband to build you a 900 sqft building to put your fabric in and sew away!! He's a sweetie.

I must confess I am very lucky to such a wonderful husband. He wants me to keep my sanity. I did have all the fabric in a quest room and the fabric took over. Fabric is certainly a must. Of all the problems one can have in life, having too much fabric isn't one of them. :-)

Too funny, tell him you have an addiction, and there is no known cure, except that you need a sewing room, with plenty of sewing room & storage for your addiction. Oh yea & tell him that you need more fabric so you want have bad dreams. LOL
LUV IT!!!

Well, at least he has a good attitude about you and your propensity to collect fabric. Mine just complains about how much I have, and what I could possibly need it all for, and what on earth he will do if I croak and he has to deal with it. I have a pact with my sister if either of us croaks, the other will go to her house and haul it all off. I have a lot more than she does.

I want my husband to find a young quilter with not much fabric and give her all my fabric. When we were just starting out I would buy 1/8 of a yard. I would pick out 8 cute fabrics and was thrilled to get one yard. It would have been wonderful to inherit or have been given any fabric. I loive every piece

Make sure you and your sister put it in writing. I know when a relative passed away, not even her children got to see her wonderful stash first. One of her husband's sisters convinced him to let her see the stash and took all she wanted before anyone else. She took all she wanted and not just fabric.

That happened in my ex in laws and the female children took what they wanted from their mother's home before the will was read. Some hard feelings there.

I must confess, I do not have an outside building and under my bed is Christmas and birthday wrap in pull out plastic containers. I have to confess that I lost my guess bed room a few years ago to my statch. i have a king size bed that is no longer visible. one corner for felt, one for fleece, one for drapery and upholstery fabric and one corner for my work out clothes as I no longer have room in the chest of drawers or dresser. The middle of the bed had remnants for doll clothes for the granddaughters. I can no longer have spend the night guest, which doesn't bother me!!

Sounds totally fun to me. I'd love to see your bed you sound very artistic. I love piles of fabric.

I'm afraid someone would turn me in to that TV show that comes and cleans out your junk " my treasures". My daughter has already threatened.

This is so funny I am really laughing out loud! I wish my husband would wake up one day and tell me all he wanted to do was go shopping for Fabric! I would make him the best breakfast, and then drive him to the store. We could shop together! :)
