I wonder if when they printed the article the Mylar craze just came out and it was'nt readily available. I know alot of cuties had a hard time finding it and some of us did'nt even know what it was.Emblibrary is usually pretty good about being up to date with latest trends. I wonder what the next latest thing will be? There is always something new on the horizon. That is what makes embroidery so much fun

I got it from heirlooms by Sharon for a good price. I have a mylar balloon that I plan to use on something I won't be washing!

She tells you that there is only one of them that is washable.

I bought mine where I purchased my machine(baby-loc dealer)-it wasn't that expensive-don't remember what I paid-you don't need very big pieces,so it goes a long way.

Mylar will be a new experience for me. I hope to find the right type for embroidery so I don't get discouraged. Thanks for all your posts on this. Great info.
