Friends of ours, who struggled to have a baby - gave birth to Olivia. I stitched this up for her. I am not an expert with onsies, let alone "little" onsies!!! Mom and Dad were thrilled with it. This font and the flowers are from the Needle of Anne. The baby is thriving and her parents are "head over heels", in love with her.

I,ve been wanting to do onsies. What size hoops did you use? Also what stablizers did you use. I'm new and know nothing. Thank you. This is really cute

Thank you! This was done on a 4x4 hoop. I used a cutaway stabilizer. I did not hoop the onesie. I wrestled with it and pinned it down on the hooped stabilizer. This was a small onesie and I used small designs. I put a soft backing ironed on the inside when it was finished so it would not scratch soft skin! This is a great forum for asking questions and I still feel like a newbee!!! Welcome!*
what do you mean when you say you put a soft backing. I embroidered a onsie for my granbaby and was concerned with the backing scratching. I don't think my machine will embroider without a hoop

What a lovely gift for a newborn (or her mum). It's fiddly embroidering small onesies, but this shows it's well worth the effort.
