If you have an Ikea store near by, let me tell you...they have hand towels, 100% cotton, so they will shrink a little, for 0.49 cents. They could make somre nice Christmas or any ocasion presents.

Wow! I was just thinking of trying to find towels that were nice but not to pricey! Thank you so much I never would have thought of them.

Yes they are great presents. I use them when Anna is invited for a birthday and all the kids love them (they can use them for swim-lessons at school).
Cause of the shrink I wash all the towles before stitching ;o)

I wish I had an Ikea store near me. I saw some night lights in projects from one of the cuties that made shade covers but they do not sell them online, only in the store. You are so lucky!!!

Hello,
that's me with the shade covers :o)
I sell them and so I know why they don't sell the lamps online: Last friday I send 5 lamps to customers and one arrived there broken :o( It's always a risk no matter how good you will pack them in paper and other stuff...
Greetings, Bettina

Over the years, I have bought many possible "blanks" at Ikea. They were all very reasonably priced and they do make great gifts!!!*

Thanks, the ones I looked at last week were very thin and not great quality so perhaps your IKEA is better
