Raels, if you mean the swirls now go around the letters instead of just being in front, I think you’ll find they haven’t changed – what you’re looking at on the earlier letters are actually jump stitches. I think the designer's just cut the jump stitches to show that the swirls go around the letters. I haven’t stitched any of them out as yet, but that’s what it looks like to me. Plus, somehow I don’t think the designer would change the design mid-alphabet. All the best.
