Could it have been the Sticky Stab I used yesterday on my knit fabric that made the thread to keep poping? I've never had it that bad before. TIA ;D

Were you using the correct needle? You should be using a ball point needle on knits. Maybe I've just misunderstood your question if you're taking about your top or bobbin thread. In that case I don't have a clue as I don't use the sticky back stablizers.

Thanks, I was trying to remember if I should have used the bp needle. I looked at it and kept the size 11 in the machine. I will change it tonight when I get home for my next project ;D *2U

Which kind of sticky were you using? The paper backed kind can make a noise as the needle goes in and out. Same is true if you are using a WSS topper and it is basted tightly. Is the only issue that it makes a noise? Or did you have broken needles or thread too?
