I made a bunch of these a couple of years ago for my granddaughters to give their friends at Christmas. I still had plenty from my remnant statch so thought I would make more. I am playing around with applique letters.

Kay these are so cute and easy to make. Love the applique fabric. Have you every knotted the fringe up at the top? each one individually? It will give them a different look that the ones you made a couple of years ago. :)

These are on the cross grain which means 60 in less trimming the selvages.

I am trying to use up fabric instead of buying more. As I have earlier stated, I have so much that I loose things.

The applique letters are very cute and I love the fabric you used, it makes a useful scarf into a very special one!

Thank you. I actually made a reversible cape using the animal print and black. I always wear it with the animal print to the inside.

I am glad to finally see what you have been talking about. I really think they will be well received. They turned out great! Question: Is the initial fur or just printed? My eyes are bad enough that I could not tell by getting a close-up. With the material they are made of "fur" initial would be great. It does look like it has a short nap so that would even be better. I am assuming these are the shorter ones since you started with them first. You are going to have to get busy with them, the way the temperature has made a turn this past week...... Is this the Black with dots you mentioned or are you just doing random initials?

Linda, it's all fleece. The amimal print is just fuzzier. The project we talked about with dots is toilet paper covers.

Nothing better than a fleece scarf on a cold day! The applique initials are a cute touch! *s

These look really good! I saw a soft toy alpha at Stitch Delight that would probably suit this project, too. Nice work.
