If you have a split design print out a template (or even two) if you have the software to do that. With the help of those you can place the embroidery accurately on the shirt and stitch them out. I expect Emblibrary to have a tutorial on the subject that clarifies it.

If the design is a split design it should have some orientation marks, I have done a lot of split designs I have a 5x7 hoop too. Be very careful with the marks and the center of your designs , you should not have any problem, remember to make templates I love the Transparency printer material because I can see through the design. Good luck, I only have 4x4 and I wouldn't know how to begin split designs.

Have fun - they make lovely designs - you just match up the marks or hashing stitches.
