Yes, try downloading again after a bit. Also, if you have softeware that you can download in any another format do that. Then convert to PES if that's all your machine will read. Just thoughts. I've done the re-download and done the different formats to get designs to work. Good luck!

Good advice from Ramona. If you are having no problems down loading other pes format designs from other sites, then contact Veronika.

Which program are you using that gives you the error "cant read format"? is it PED Basic (the card writing software to transfer designs to your machine)? If so then you need the update to version 1.07 (although this error would more likely be "no sewing data - but I had to ask). We can help you better if we understand which program you're using when you get this error.

If its your browser (Internet explorer/firefox/opera/chrome etc) then you might need to configure your browser settings to tell it to download designs, rather than trying to open them, or the program associated with them (eg so that embird doesnt start up when you click a design link in your browser).

You have been given the general advise for what to do in this case, so I'm just going to say WELCOME! Nice to have you aboard...

Do you have a machine that takes larger than 4inch designs? The embossed sea font is larger than 4 inch and that might be your problem.
Another problem some people have is the version of pes that your machine reads. pes comes in many versions the latest being pes 7.0. Most older machines will take pes 4.0. I'm not sure what version of pes the designs are in that you are downloading.
You can get conversion software free to change the designs to lower versions.
I got my links to the software, Tajima Pulse or Wilcom Truesizer, at the bottom of the page at Cindes.

Personally, I think that whatever happened when the Cute family of sites was down this past weekend has caused some problems with certain downloads as well. I just discovered a problem with the Candy Cane Font from 8 Claws and Amazings Sticky Xmas font....wonder what else I'm going to find tonight!
