They look great in the gold and silver you used. Tricky thread to work with at times. I'm sorry to hear you had some problems - and I can see something went wrong with the one on the lower right. I used white embroidery thread on two layers of wss at 90 degree angles and had those real tight in the hoop.

I don't like that clear wws i used 3 layers & some still not right but i will keep trying thanks Mops!!!

Now you are really getting brave using Metallic thread!
You did great!
Are you using embroidery thread in the bobbin with the top metallic thread or just bobbin thread?
You can use regular embroidery thread in the bobbin that is a color that closely matches the top metallic thread just incase you didn't think of that! LOL.
When you master FSL then you can use metallic thread in the bobbin too. Wind it slowly on the bobbin and stitch slowly.
Thanks for sharing your project with us!!

Yes Metallic on top & reg. what i call fish line in the bobbinSo you hardly notice its not the same thread .I have gray/black fish line & white I think its 100% polly something >i am sure you know what i mean!!Thanks Carolyn
Do you have a grey embroidery thread that is close to the silver metallic or a gold colored embroidery thread that is close in color to the gold metallic thread.
You might have a better stitch out if you use regular embroidery thread in the bobbin and not the bobbin thread or fish line.
Try one in white with the same 40 weight embroidery thread in the top and in the bobbin and see how they stitch out.
Experiment, Experiment Away! LOL
