I know that smile as It was the same smile I had when my "lemon" computer finally got replaced just short of the warranty ending. It's wonderful to have a good outcome. Did you have to buy the new hard drive and how did you get Western Digital to extract your files for free?

They gave me a new external hard drive with the files placed on it. My failed hard drive was out of warranty. As some fate of luck, I met employees of western digital at a doctors office waiting room and they gave me the phone number of the executives. Strange twist of fate, just as I was resolved to lose my designs.

Now be sure to do regular Back-Ups because you might not be so lucky. 3cheers for Western Digital!
Now go back to being busy embroidering !

I am glad for your good luck. I know how you feel My computer also crashed week before last. I lost
everything, but I have a external hard drive and
most all my designs are on it. I also had downloaded to ubs sticks. The external hard drive was a good purchase, I am so glad I had one. If you
don't have one buy one. It has save me money and heart ache.
