Stopping right now to say a prayer for Allura. The great physician is a wonderful healer. He knows your heart and he will comfort you if you ask. I'm asking in your stead that you will feel his loving arms around you and that Allura will wake with a new resolve and strength that she can identify as coming from her heavenly father.

I'm wishing all the best for you and Allura as well. You've done a fabulous job raising her and sadly, you get the challenges that come with parenthood as well. I hope that all turns out fantastically for you all.

I have been gone all day and only just got on the computer. I am so sorry this has happened to your granddaughter. I can relate to how you must be feeling right now. I nearly lost my son 20 months ago due to a major Heart Attack. He was 42 at the time and had only been married 6 months. I do pray that she will be alright with no permanant damage. My prayers go out to Allura, you, and the rest of the family. Please try to trust and believe in the Lord. This is a terrifing time for you and I know you must be sick yourself not knowing all the details. Are you close to where this happened? I know that if you are that close and she mostly lived with you growing up that she will need you for support when she comes around. May the Lord keep her in His loving arms and comfort her and all of the family in the days to come. Honest and heartfelt prayer is the only way for you to get through this. By the time my son was out of danger after his H.A., I was a basket case although I knew the Lord was with us all. I do hope that by the time you read this you will know if there was any lasting damage done. Sedation was most likely the best way to treat her and keep her calm enough to get her through the attack with minimum damage to her system. Please let us know something as soon as you find out all the details about how she is doing now. God bless Allura and you also! Linda
