When I walked into my sewing room my machine was smoking, literally smoking. I was not jammed or any think. I ran my 2 year old machine to the fabric shop. Tech says its my mother board. I have to wait till Tuesday to see if he can even find one. What do I do in the meantime??? This quilt design is bouncing around in my head and I can't do any thing with it.
Any suggestions. I already cleaned out my sewing room. LOL

sounds like a great time to organize all your embroidery files... You'll be able to see them all again and i'm sure come up with many new projects too. Grab a pen and paper and write them all down :) Your machine will be back home running like a charm soon.

oooooooh! Bummer. Hope he can find you one soon. Maybe they will rent or loan you a machine 'till you can get it fixed.

Oh my. I hope it can be fixed quickly. Write down your ideas. I think great ideas then forget them when something else crowds out that thought.

So sorry to hear that! Hope you get it back soon. Write the ideas down like Karen said. Why is it you are the most creative when your machine is in the shop I wonder. Suzanne

Oh that sounds awful. Hopefully it won't take long. You could always search for new designs. Take care.

So sorry to hear your bad news. I hope your tech finds a mother board quickly.
The lesson here: Our machines know when we leave the room!!! Don't do it!!! LOL

Oh, so sorry to hear, smoke coming out of anything is not good. Organization time in the computer files I guess. If not, come help clean and organize my house, lol!

Well - wish I could help you, and loan you a machine - but we are way across the country from each other. Hopefully it won't take too long.

I am so sorry, hope he finds one for you. you could make a small wall quilt with hand applique, I know it's nothing like our machines but I am doing one right now so while the stitching is running I can just put a few stitches in. figure it will be done by the holidays.
