It's great,picks up needles,pins even scissors. Picks up stuff you did'nt even know you dropped.

These are neat to have. I have one that was from my sewing buddy that died last year. It retracts, and is only about the size of a pen, but can be extended to about 3 foot. Love it.

I have a grabber like the one pictured and it also has a magnetic tip and works well for getting stuff out of the upper cupboards and on the floor.
