My little sister is in labor! (OK, she's not little but she's less than a year older than my oldest son.) I'm very excited.

Oh goodie, a new baby - can't wait to hear the news on what she has. You are going to be a new Auntie, too.

Yes, it's very exciting today. My dad had more children later in life so I have twin sisters 8 months older than my first son and a brother 6 months older than my second son.
I spoke to my dad today and accidentally called him great grandpa. Whoops, he's still just the grandpa.

And she's here! 12:14 am on November 17th. She is either Jessie or Jesse. I don't have the correct spelling yet. My sister and baby are doing fine after about 20 hours of labor. Wheeew!

Wow, your family tree would look very interesting! Hope Jessie (?) is going well, along with her mum and the rest of the family. Congratulations to all.

Yes, the family tree is, shall we say, twisted? Like a vine? Or like weeds? I don't know. But I'll say this, when people ask me how many brothers and sisters I have I literally stop and count LOL! It's 4 full sisters, then a 1/2 brother, then the twin 1/2 sisters and the other 1/2 brother. Then a step brother and sister.
